David "Bugs" Potter is a 15-year-old drummer and rock fan from Red River High in Winnipeg. While attending a high school music festival in Toronto, he sneaks out at night with his reluctant roommate Adam to sit in and jam with his favourite bands.
He appears in two of Canadian-American author Gordon Korman's young adult novels: Who is Bugs Potter? and Bugs Potter: Live at Nickaninny
