The MacGuffins are a group mentioned in the not-very-good 2003 sequel to The Rutles, The Rutles 2: Can't Buy Me Lunch.
They is one of several examples the presenter names of "particular boring" popular music in 1950s England.
The film then shows an image taken from the original Rutles movie and featuring a party of Scotsmen from Hull. They were part of the scene where the drummer Barry Wom is getting married and The MacGuffins were never mentioned in the original film.
