Jimmy Glimmer

Jimmy Glimmer (aka "The Wallasey Warbler") is a singer mentioned in the not-very-good 2003 sequel to The Rutles, The Rutles 2: Can't Buy Me Lunch.

He is one of several examples the presenter names of "particular boring" popular music in 1950s England.

The film then shows an image taken from the original Rutles movie and featuring George Harrison of The Beatles in disguise. He was playing a TV news reporter interviewing a Hell's Angel and Jimmy Glimmer was never mentioned in the original film.
