Wandering street singer/failed accountant who appears in Will Eisner's "The Street Singer," one of the four stories in A Contract With God and Other Tenement Stories (1978). Diva Marta Maria discovers him singing for pennies among the tenements and renames him in preparation for a great career. In reality, his name is Eddie, and he's a wife-beating drunk who blows his big chance.
