The White Violin

Real name Vanya Hargreeves, this violinist has the ability to transform sound into destructive force. She appears in Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá's Dark Horse comic The Umbrella Academy.

Introduced in the first series, The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite (2007–2008), she originally thinks she has no superpowers. After meeting The Orchestra Verdammten she becomes the world-killing supervillain The White Violin. She's played by Elliot Page in the 2019 Netflix adaptation.
