Band fronted by left-handed rockabilly guitar prodigy Tommy Aguilar whose rise and fall is chronicled in the 2001 novel Off the Record by NC music critic David Menconi. Aguilar is based on real musicians Dexter Romweber of Flat Duo Jets and Ryan Adams of Whiskeytown. You can actually listen to some clips on the book's website!
