Local band from the "Combo Capers" story in Tower comic book Tippy's Friend Go-Go #12 (March 1969).
This band is managed by scheming semi-regular character Egghead who's got them a gig at East Mudflat High School. Unfortunately, the band pawned all their instruments to pay Egghead the $60 he wanted to rent a van for the band. To get the money he talks semi-regular female character Tiny into fronting the band. The result? The Lumps were a flop, but the school gives Tiny a contract for three more dances.
