Jump to navigationJump to searchAn all-hermaphrodite vocal combo appearing in Alfred Bester and Roger Zelazny's Psychoshop (published 1998). The novel was left unfinished at Bester's death in 1987, and was completed by Zelazny afterward.
All of the members of this combo, which is the most popular singing group of a generation (though it's not clear which generation--the novel is about time travel, after all), have both male and female genitalia. The resulting mix of hormones produces both amazing vocals and unhappiness for lead singer Ashton Ash, who trades his dual set for a boring old single set.
