O.D.
One of the many fictional jazz acts created by DJ/producer Madlib in the 2000s and 2010s. The releases by these 'bands' on Stones Throw Records often looked and sounded as if they were vintage and discovered in a second-hand record store, with pre-printed ringwear on the cover and pre-recorded vinyl crackling in between songs.
O.D. appears on the limited Madlib Medicine Show edition of the 2010 compilation "High Jazz" on the Madlib Invazion label, alongside the flagship 'band' in this context, Yesterdays New Quintet. The 16+-minute track "Wasted" by O.D. is supposedly taken from the soundtrack of the movie "Sober Up" from 2006, which is likely to be fictional as well since it does not appear on either IMDb or Google.
