Mary Spuckler
From several episodes of the animated television series The Simpsons. Young 13-year-old-daughter of inbred hick stereotype Cletus Spuckler, she is an aspiring singer/songwriter who dates Bart Simpson. In the "Moonshine River" episode, Bart tracks her down after she runs off to New York City.
In the "Love is a Many Splintered Thing" episode (February 10, 2013) she gets back together with Bart but he's too self-absorbed to give her proper attention, and loses her. But the heartbreak helps Mary write more songs. She competes in, but doesn't win, the Hillbilly Talent Contest in Springfield. But afterwards she's approached by a Brazilian record exec interested in "jugband samba fusion" and Spuckler ends up dating his young son.
