Manju

Aspiring singer played by Kanan Devi in the 1938 Hindi film Street SInger. The film—remade the same year in Bengali as Sathi—follows Manju and her friend Bhulwa from their time as street urchins to conflicts over Manju's success in the theater and their eventual reconciliation.
