French girl who turns singer when she's discovered to be the inspiration for the (real) hit German song "Lili Marleen," in the 1950 British film Lilli Marlene. The Nazis kidnap her and try to brainwash her for propaganda purposes.

There was a 1953 sequel, The Wedding of Lilli Marlene.
