Egotistical violin virtuoso played by Leon Askin in the "Fiddler in the House" episode of short-lived 1974–1975 CBS sitcom Friends and Lovers or Paul Sand in Friends and Lovers (first aired 5 Oct. 1974). Karl is the father of one of the show's main characters, violinist Fred Meyerbach.
