Famous French opera singer from 100 years ago briefly shown on a poster in "The Vampire of the Opera" story of horror comic book The Beyond #9 (March 1952).
A poster advertises he sang the opera Carmen with Madame Pourette in 1847 at the Paris Opera House, which is amazing since Bizet didn't start writing it until 1872.
