Cartoon character Fred Flintstone is made over by "The Colonel" into this Buddy Holly-looking rocker after a do it yourself record Fred recorded at an amusement park becomes a radio hit. He sings "Rockin' Bird." Betty and Wilma soon tire of life on tour and deliberately ruin his career by starting a rumor that he's a square.
