Popular radio DJ on an unnamed station from "The Case Of The Cracked Disc Jockey" story in comic book The Perfect Crime #12 (May 1951). He's the target of murderous Ben Blane, a DJ at the same station who's jealous of Carlisle's success. And that he married a girl Blane liked.
Blane rigs up a electronic device to give Carlisle headaches, and then tries to kill him with a poisoned record. But his "perfect" scheme collapses, and he attacks and kills Carlisle on the air in the studio, and is shot dead fleeing the police.
