Geraint the Blue Bard

Fictitious 9th century Welsh bard and harpist (AKA Geraint Fardd Glas, or Geraint Vardd Glas, his name in Welsh, AKA Blue Bard Keraint), invented by Iolo Morganwg/Edward Williams (1747-1826), Welsh antiquarian, poet, and literary forger. He appears in Volume 3 of The Myvyrian Archaiology of Wales: Collected Out of Ancient Manuscripts (1807) by Morganwg and others. It contains "Athrawiaeth Geraint Varrd Glas" ("Geraint the Blue Bard's Doctrine").
