Fran Morgan

Would-be actress who joins a touring stock company in the "Pathway to Temptation" story of comic book Diary Loves #16 (November 1951). When the company folds in Oskaloosa, she ends up singing scantily clad in a New York City cabaret. Unfortunately, she falls for casino owner Nick Ferranti, and is by his side when he shoots another man in a gambling argument. She's acquitted, and manages to return to acting thanks to good-guy true love Jim Randall.
