Funny animal comic book parody of real pianist/singer Fats Waller. To maintain continuity, Marvel sticks things into different alternate universes. The Earth populated entirely by cartoon animals is called Earth-8311, and is filled with wonderfully mediocre animal puns like this one, and Billygoat Joel.

Jelly Fish Morton was mentioned in Peter Porker, The Spectacular Spider-Ham, #16 (July 1987). Peter Porker is a big fan of him and Duck Ellington, Jelly Fish Morton, and Ellaphant Fitzgerald.
