Fictional in-game (and real out-of-game) World of Warcraft band whose songs (in and out of the game) focus largely on WoW-related content. They debuted as Tenth Level Tauren Chieftain in the credits to [Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne]. Since the launch of World of Warcraft in 2004, their name has developed as the maximum player levels have increased; they were Level 60 Elite Tauren Chieftain, Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain, Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieftain, The Artists Formerly Known as Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieftain (TAFKAL80ETC), and Level 90 Elite Tauren Chieftain before settling on their current simplified name. The members of the band in-game are Horde characters; out-of-game, they are employees of Blizzard Entertainment (the game's publisher). The band currently plays daily at two locations in the game (Shattrath City and the Grim Guzzler), as well as the monthly Darkmoon Faire. Between gigs, the band members can be seen hanging out in Silvermoon City.

The band consists of:

  • Samuro (Samwise Didier): vocals (Orc)
  • Sig Nicious (Chris Sigaty): rhythm guitar (Blood Elf)
  • Bergrisst (Dave Berggren): lead guitar (Undead)
  • Mai'Kyl (Mike Morhaime): bass (Troll)
  • Chief Thunder-Skins (Alan Dabiri): drums (Tauren)

The band's original lead guitarist was Arthas Menethil (aka the big bad of WoW's 2008 expansion, Wrath of the Lich King.)

In 2017, WoW added another named band: Blight Boar.
