"The Poet of Teen Love" played by Will Ferrell in a sketch from the 27 Jan. 2018 episode of late-night sketch TV show Saturday Night Live. He is a fifties-style piano rocker (although he recorded his "hits" in the 1980s) whose songs are reminiscent of tunes like "Sweet Little Sixteen," only less legal. (Sample lyrics: "She grows corn / she grows beans / her daddy hates me / because she’s only 14 / 14, 14, that’s her age / 14!")
