Breaking Glass

British New Wave band from the 1980 rags to riches to loony bin flick of the same name. Lead singer Kate (Hazel O'Connor) gets slowly sucked into the machine, succumbing to record company pressures and getting hooked on drugs. In their final concert before Kate has a nervous breakdown, she sports an outfit that gets stolen by the costume designers of Tron two years later.
