Bingo Treakle

British rock star from the long-forgotten, short-lived, spy-spoof comic strip Pauline McPeril (1966-67) by Jack Rickard and Mell Lazarus (under the pseudonym Fulton).

Singer/guitarist Treakle looks beatlesque, but is an oafish, poorly-spoken lout.

Title character McPeril is a bumbling secret agent for America's G.I.A. (General Intelligence Agency) who fails to keep Treakle from being kidnapped. The kidnappers demand the youth rise up in revolution if they ever want to see Treakle again.
