Arturo Carasa

Opera singer from the "Crimes Set to Music" multi-part story in DC comic book All-Star Comics #19 (Winter 1943-44). Goons threaten to put stuff on his lips to make him permanently allergic to metal, so he'll never be able to play again! Superhero Thunderbolt saves the day.

Carasa was targeted by Hector Bauer, a former childhood friend who blamed his lack of success in music on Carasa and his other friends.

Carasa's name is similar to real opera singer Enrico Caruso.
