Anita

European opera soprano from the 1927 German opera Jonny spielt auf by Ernst Krenek. This titillating slice of modernity was held up by the Nazis as a prime example of "degenerate art."

Anita is torn between her two suitors, Daniello, a concert virtuoso violinist, and Max, a classical composer.

But then Daniello accidentally dies, making that choice a whole lot easier.
