Alto Brass Band

Community band from Alto, Ohio, in Robert McCloskey’s 1940 children’s book Lentil. They were supposed to play a welcome-home celebration for the town’s hero, but town curmudgeon Old Sneep incapacitates them by sucking a lemon in front of them. Luckily, the book’s title character is on hand.
