Real singer Tommy Sands plays this Elvis-esque preacher's son turned rock star in the 1958 film Sing Boy Sing.

His Colonel Parker-esque manager is Joseph Sharkey (Edmond O'Brien).

Tommy Sands also played fictional singers Ewell Walker and Joey Rand.
