One hit wonder rock band of college dropouts managed by layabout Chet Doyle in "The Music Tycoon" episode (1972) of animated sitcom Wait Til Your Father Gets Home.

Dad Harry Boyle pays for their $300 demo record just to get them to stop rehearsing at his house. Dischord Records buys it and puts out 50,000 copies right off.

Their song "Wham Bam I'm in Love With Sam" jumps from #39 to number one. Chet foolishly blows all the profits on fancy cars, expensive offices, and their follow up single, "Go Go I'm In Love With Moe." Unfortunately that single jumps from #39 to #235, ending Chet's music career, and presumably also the band's.

Lineup:

  • Jack Lerner, medical school
  • Mike Winslow, law school
  • Dave Robbins, engineering school
  • Barry Ferguson, engineering school
