His girlfriend Mindy wants him to get a steady job after seeing how crummy jazz geezer Binky Barnett lives. Bradley is supposed to audition for Hank Stevens' orchestra, but Mindy calls him a "music hobo" and breaks up with him when he flakes on the audition.
