Funny animal comic book parody of real singer Ella Fitzgerald. To maintain continuity, Marvel sticks things into different alternate universes. The Earth populated entirely by cartoon animals is called Earth-8311, and is filled with wonderfully mediocre animal puns like this one, and Fats Walrus.

Ellaphant Fitzgerald was mentioned in Peter Porker, The Spectacular Spider-Ham, #16 (July 1987). Peter Porker is a big fan of her and Duck Ellington, Fats Walrus, and Jelly Fish Morton.
