Mardee Lane

Well known torch singer and recording star from the "Reputation Thrown Away!" story of comic book Campus Romance #3 (Feb-Mar 1950).

Wild, disaffected college seniors Lorry Adams, her boyfriend Tad Dalman, and some others go to seedy club The Blue Flame and see her perform. She's tragically killed at the end of the night when Tad accidentally hits her with his car. Lorry stands by her man and they both get expelled and break up.

Later the judge dismisses the charges since it was an accident, and they are allowed back into Stratford College (you know, in the college town of Colden), and get back together.
