First boyfriend of Josie of Josie and the Pussycats, appearing regularly in the She's Josie comic book (later renamed Josie, then Josie and the Pussycats. Originally just a regular teen, he started playing guitar, writing songs, and turning into a slobby beatnik partway through the series, about issue #10.
Josie goes nuts for his singing, but dumps him for hunky folksinger Alan M. Mayberry, and Albert disappeared into the comic book ether, along with a few other characters.
Albert never seemed to get a last name.
