Predecessor band of real life 1970s hitmakers Captain & Tennille, at least according to a Behind the Music segment in the 2001 film Josie and the Pussycats.

Eddie "The Chief" Jones claims he co-founded the band, was mostly responsible for the 1975 hit "Love Will Keep Us Together," and then was forced out by Captain.

In real life, Captain and Tenille's 1975 version of the song was a cover; Neil Sedaka and Howard Greenfield wrote the song in 1973.
