Lead singer Kate (Hazel O'Connor) gets slowly sucked into the machine, succumbing to record company pressures and getting hooked on drugs. In their final concert before Kate has a nervous breakdown, she sports an outfit that gets stolen by the costume designers of Tron two years later.
