He died in his prime of overwork. A posthumous discovery of his writings by G'g Rash now titled the "Hrrshtk Notes" establishes Hrrshtk as the discoverer of the Doctrine of Emotional Equivalency, which accounts for some of his popularity. He wrote his music knowing that it evoked different emotions in different species.

Alien composer best known for his Symphonic Storm Suite, from the humor article "Extracts from the Galactick Almanack: Music Around the Universe," by Larry M. Harris (pseudonym of Laurence M. A native of the planet Wellington V, he also invented the instrument that solos in the piece, the hum-drum.
