Funny animal comic book parody of real singer Jelly Roll Morton. To maintain continuity, Marvel sticks things into different alternate universes. The Earth populated entirely by cartoon animals is called Earth-8311, and is filled with wonderfully mediocre animal puns like this one, and Billygoat Joel.
Jelly Fish Morton was mentioned in Peter Porker, The Spectacular Spider-Ham, #16 (July 1987). Peter Porker is a big fan of him and Duck Ellington, Fats Walrus, and Ellaphant Fitzgerald.
