Former band of protagonist Danny McQueen, from Louise Wener's 2002 novel, Goodnight Steve McQueen. Wener was a singer/songwriter in the real Britpop band Sleeper in the 1990s.
Danny McQueen and mate Vince were in this band together before they became Dakota with the addition of drummer Matty Starkey. Agent Orange broke up at the end of 1988.
Not to be confused with real California punk band Agent Orange, formed 1979.
