From This is Spinal Tap. This is the early '60s London band that was originally "The Originals," forcing the Spinal Tap precursor band also called The Originals to change their name to The New Originals. But then the original Originals changed their name to The Regulars. So, The New Originals could have gone back to the name The Originals, but they said screw it and became The Thamesmen instead. Got it?
