Talk:Robes of Teal
In the episode, Peter just wants to form a band of that name - they not only never played a single note, but never formed at all! Does that constitute a fakeband? Gott 02:37, 7 July 2013 (UTC)
I think it counts enough to be included.there are a lot of entries for mentioned-but-not-seen bands. Alan 17:40, 7 July 2013 (UTC)
Yes, but those bands, like Six Million Jews, or CAITLIN CAITLIN GLORY HOLE, are conceived as bands that played and recorded in their respective fictional setting, unlike Robes of Teal, that were designed to be nothing more than an idea in the first place. Hmm, maybe an extra category for bands like this? I was already thinking about different categories for the three "levels" of fictional bands:
- "meta"-fictional, for bands not even existing in their fictional setting, like Robes of Teal
- fictional, the gros of all fictional bands, and
- "real"-fictional, bands that overcome the boundaries of the fiction, like Gorillaz or Dark Circle Knights.
Would that make sense? Regards, Gott 18:15, 7 July 2013 (UTC)
