Nashville singing star with his own radio show from the 1960 Johnny Cash song "Smiling Bill McCall" off his Ride This Train album.

McCall tries to commit suicide because he hates his theme music and is plagued by the fact he's only four feet tall and bald, which he has successfully hidden from the public.
