Young composition student from Robertson Davies’s 1988 novel The Lyre of Orpheus, the final installment of "The Cornish Trilogy." After Mr. Cornish dies, a foundation set up in his name funds a project to complete an opera by real composer E.T.A. Hoffmann. Hulda is chosen to complete the music.
