Hoagy Red Seal Comics.png

Piano player in a saloon singer from the Gay Desperado story (set in the old West) of anthology comic book Red Seal Comics #21 (October 1947). He accompanies singer Rattlesnake Rose. He's sympathetic to cowboy the Gay Desperado, and warns him the sheriff is looking for him. Later, he helps disguise the Gay Desperado so he can take his place at the saloon and eavesdrop for information.

He likely takes his name from popular composer/pianist/singer/actor Hoagy Carmichael.
