Line 1: Line 1:
Country singer from the sketch comedy television series ''[http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0694668/ Saturday Night Live]'' (09/24/1994). An oddly doublely fake singer, as his tale is told in a song sung by another, unnamed country singer, played by [[Michael McKean]]. Buck is played by comedian Steve Martin  in vignettes illustrating the song. He has a number one album, then the fame goes to his head, and he stereotypically dumps his loving girlfriend for whores and booze, gets caught in a homosexual tryst with comedian Jackie Mason and dies from drinking Raid bug spray. So sad, so typical.
