Fictional jazz/swing musician from The Education of Albie Snow, a huge, 1,900-some page unpublished autobiographical novel by real musician and bandleader Artie Shaw (1910-2004).

The character first appeared in his short story "Snow White in Harlem," published in his 1989 collection The Best of Intentions and Other Stories.
