Johann Gambolputty
Undeservedly forgotten German Baroque composer with a ridiculously long name profiled in a [Monty Python's Flying Circus] skit. His wife was Sarah.
Full name (taken from the book of the show scripts, which gives his name with the hyphens):
Gambolputty de von Ausfern-schplenden-schlitter-crasscrenbon-fried-digger-dingle- dangle-dongle-dungle-burstein-von-knacker-thrasher-apple-banger-horowitz-ticolensic-grander-knotty-spelltinkle-grandlich-grumblemeyer-spelterwasser- kurstlich-himbleeisen-bahnwagen-gutenabend-bitte-ein-nürnburger-bratwustle- gerspurten-mitz-weimache-luber-hundsfut-gumberaber-shönedanker-kalbsfleisch- mittler-aucher von Hautkopft of Ulm.
His name is mostly meaningless mock German; a few bits are real German:
- bahnwagen = tram car
- gutenabend = good evening
- bitte = please
- kalbsfleisch = veal
- shönedanker = Danke Schön backwards, means thanks
