A 1960s girl group featuring Dee Dee Tubbs from the "Mama Drama" episode animated television series The Cleveland Show. This group figures into the backstory of show regular Donna Tubbs. They got big in Germany, so when Dee Dee Tubbs got pregnant at 19, she gave her daughter, Donna, to her brother to raise.
I joined a girls’ singing group. All my life, that’s all I wanted to do, be a musician. We were called The Towelettes, three of the baddest belters to ever step on stage. And our lyrics reflected
