Jump to navigationJump to searchIn the 1996 movie That Thing You Do, this band name is originally spelled "The Oneders", constantly mispronounced as "The oh-NEED-ers". So the spelling was changed and the Beatle-esque Wonders were born.
In one scene, the guys get a part in a beach movie, playing the part of another fake band, Cap'n Geech and the Shrimp Shack Shooters.
