John Irving Pettybone

Droopy Dog plays this "dixieland dog" whose musical goal is to conduct a dixieland combo at the Hollywood Bowl in Tex Avery's classic animated short Dixieland Droopy (1954). After sneaking his record of "Tiger Rag" onto various turntables, Pettybone drops and breaks it. But then he runs across Pee Wee Runt, who take up residence on his backside, making him a musical sensation.
