From the "Best Friends" episode of crossdressing television sitcom Bosom Buddies (first aired 9 April 1981).

Kip Wilson (Tom Hanks) was childhood friends with Joseph Raybonz, who's now major rock star Joey Midnight. So he and his pals get to hang out with him when he comes to town on a tour.
