Real 1950s pop idol Frankie Avalon appears as the mystical "Teen Angel" in a dream sequence in 1979's musical paean to the 1950s, Grease.

He appears to troubled teen Frenchy (Didi Conn) and sings "Beauty School Dropout" in which he wisely advises her to go back to high school.
